Georgia + Daniel – Private Residance

This wedding is by far a ‘peoples favourite’, with Georgia’s bouquet still one of the most liked images on our Instagram feed to date.
This gorgeous Geelong, Surf Coast couple wanted a chilled, personalised but ever so slightly daring floral feature for not only their ceremony, but also their reception… And that is exactly what Daisy and Mel gave them!

The girls put together a stunning mixture of native, pastel tones, with a really textural pop… creating chaotic balance!
For the bridesmaids, simplicity was the key! Each bridesmaid carried a King Protea, this signature flower has been a feature for quite a few Wedding seasons now, its striking shape and inviting and calming colour palette still draws the attention of many brides.
Now as for their arch, the bride and groom really tested Daisy’s problem solving ability (and lack of knowledge in the area of Physics), dreaming up ‘floating arch.’ Now for those of you not privy to floristry, you would be genuinely amazed by the sheer weight of a simple floral installation. Now factor in that Daisy and Mel are not ladies that you would deem minimalists…. so this arch… weighed a ‘flower load!’ Yea I know, that was a bit corny, but you get my gist!
Finally, guests were greeted at the reception with an eye catching feature, and striking table arrangements. Running along with that Native, but ever so slightly tropical (for these to surf grommets) theme.

This will forever remain an Asdaisydoes team favourite!
