What an epic bride, what an EPIC wedding!

When we meet our brides, they generally fall into 3 categories:

1. I don’t really mind
2. I found this photo on Pinterest I like, and I wouldn’t mind a bit of Blue Gum in my arrangements.
3. I want Protea cynaroides and Eucalyptus polyanthemos in my bouquet

Well this bride fell somewhere between 1 & 2, but her brief had our Senior Florist Mel’s mind visualising something next level. To the point where she arrived back at our little Newtown oasis shortly after, with some branches of Magnolia.

Some months later, the Magnolia buds had dried (above) and just in time for our Wedding prep to begin… As with all thing Florist, this magic doesn’t occur overnight but we certainly LOVE a challenge! We would name this style/theme ‘Epic Moodiness’ and we are pretty over the moon about it.

Here is a little something from our stunning Bride:

“I recently entrusted the floral fate of my wedding to Daisy, Mel and the rest of the team at As Daisy Does. To say that they blew my mind with their creative and stunning arrangements is beyond an understatement.
I am “that person” who has been dreaming of their wedding day since they were little and I always knew that I had to have an abundance of flowers so picking a florist was a big decision (more important than my dress). As Daisy Does was the only florist I wanted when the time came around as I knew they could make my floral dreams come true.
I gave Daisy a colour scheme and a budget and told her to go nuts, and nuts they went (in the best way possible). I wanted big statement bouquets, long organic table pieces and a free standing arrangement in place of a wedding arbour and boy did they delivered.
I had so many guests comment on the arrangements saying how they weren’t just your ordinary wedding flowers, that they were works of art! The time Mel spent drying the magnolias and the perfect mix of native, English, oriental, fresh and dried flowers made for the most jaw dropping arrangements I’ve ever seen.
I am beyond thrilled that Daisy, Mel and the girls worked their magic for our special day and cannot thank them or recommend them enough!”
